A Drowning Mind: To have affliction in life, problems, and be unable to get a break; slowly dying.
The Low Down
Well, to say the least, I enjoyed my Easter Weekend, even though friday was a bit tough, I got over it.
I hung out with a bunch of friends that I hadnt seen since Christmas, it was really nice. Brought up the past, extended our futures, it was a blast. Played some B-ball on saturday, alittle chilly, but that didnt hinder the fun.
-------
I saw a bunch of movies over the weekend too, heres my run down of them.
"A Prince and Me" Okay, okay. Im a sap for chick flicks, sue me, but this one was awesome! Had some very funny parts, but also seemed to drag out a bit. None the less, the actress is a beautiful women, and the story is a great chick flick style. I enjoyed it.
"Zoolander" Ohhhhhh lordy... My good friend talked me into this one, and well, I liked it. It was funny, you deffinatly have to be in the mood to see it, but I was, I had a excellent night, so it helped. But "Zoolander" is full of one-liners that are really funny, and lets not leave out the outragous actors.
"Girl Next Door" Well... If a guy walks out of the movie theater, not horney, he just might be gay. Although not so well acted, and not so good of a plot, it deffinatly needed the "R" rating. The whole moving basically had one tumbling plot, but it all revolved around the porno industry. Wasnt what I expected, but, none the less, the main actress is gorgous, and does a fine job of turning me on.
"Blues Brothers 2000" Ohh, what can I say, I love blues music, thanks to my dad, and I love musicals. And it basically is one. Although not as great as the older ones, this one still kicks it. I recommend this movie to everyone, its awesome.
----------
Other then those movies, hanging out with a bunch of friends, seeing my family, playing with my puppy, Life is pretty much getting better. Im on the upswing now from the break up with my gf, so life should start looking a little bit less grey.
---------
Im heading back up to UND tomorrow afternoon, after getting up early to rush to the music store to get more guitar strings, then a long 6 hour drive back to my dorm room. Not really looking forward to classes.... But I am looking forward to going back to all my college friends. Sorta gets boring at home, with my family yelling at me, and nothing to do.
But I best be off, everyone's AIM away messages are set to "sleeping" So I think im going to jump on the band wagon, and say hello to my dreams.
----------
(Strange thing about me: I can make myself dream things, think it before I fall asleep, and I will dream about it)
